6 Months Post Surgery

There’s a first time for everything lol but I’ve worked pretty hard to get to where I’m at after my second lung transplant. Strength is so slow to come back and is so frustrating but today proved it’s paying off! It has been an on and off struggle with keeping up with working out. I have 3 kids under 5 and my wife and I spend a lot of time chasing and caring for them. But I have tried my hardest even if it’s 9 or 10 at night to just get in the garage and get to work. Now that I am finally seeing results, I’m hoping the motivation continues.

  1. Hello,
I am scheduled for my two weeks of testing at Mayo starting on September 13. I am in need of a double lung transplant. I was diagnosed with ILD/NSIP. I would love to discuss my concerns and questions with someone.

    1. Michelle,
It was so nice to meet and speak with you! Please reach out if you ever need anything. Good luck with your upcoming appointments.
